Expeditions

sharing a personal series I painted called Expeditions. a collection of images exploring strange and beautiful alien environments through the eyes of small exploration vehicle and its crew.

These pieces were an opportunity to experiment with scale, atmosphere, color, and visual storytelling, imagining what it might feel like to venture into worlds that are both breathtaking and completely unknown.

I also wrote a small breakdown of how i approach such images and my process, covering design, composition and worldbuilding for Issue 234 of ImagineFX Magazine from January 2024.
